I want to thank Canisius President John Hurley, Director of Athletics Bill Maher and Associate Athletic Director Traci Murphy for the seven wonderful years that have been offered to me as the head women's soccer coach here at Canisius College. I have found that the athletic department at Canisius College is made up of so many wonderful people – the coaches, student-athletes, staff and administrators, and of course, all the women's soccer players here who have made this a great experience for me. I would personally like to thank all of the young ladies who I have had the opportunity to coach at Canisius for the last seven years. The four winning seasons, the four trips to the MAAC Tournament and the 2010 MAAC regular-season championship will go down as great highlights in my 19 years of college coaching.

This has been a great experience and I have enjoyed my time at Canisius immensely. However, I feel like this is the right time for me to return back to my home in Ohio so I can be with my wife, my family and especially, my two grandchildren. I know I will always be a Griff!
