Olivia Bakowski

Olivia Bakowski has been named an assistant coach on the women's lacrosse coaching staff ahead of the 2027 season.
 
"I am beyond excited to welcome Olivia Bakowski to our coaching staff! Liv is the perfect complement to our staff, bringing a passion for creating a positive and competitive team environment, and valuable playing experience in the cage."
 
A Clarence, N.Y. native, Bakowski spent five seasons at Findlay, being named the Great Midwest Goalkeeper of the Year in 2024 while also earning first-team all-conference honors. During her final season at Findlay, Bakowski led the Oilers to a G-MAC runner-up finish with 152 saves to go along with 12 wins.
 
"The opportunity to welcome Liv back home to Buffalo and work alongside her after having the privilege of coaching her as a youth player years ago is truly a full-circle moment. I'm incredibly excited for what she will bring to our program and, more importantly, for the impact she will have on our student-athletes."
 
After her collegiate playing career at Findlay, Bakowski served as a Graduate Assistant coach at the University of Indianapolis for two seasons (2025-2026). She was part of the 2025 IWLCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year in just her first season with the team.
