Canisius University Athletics

2002: Played in 96 games and made 11 starts. Posted 103 kills on 307 attempts for a .111 hitting percentage. Had 10 kills against Radford (Sept. 14) and Cleveland State (Sept. 21). Posted a career-high 26 digs in a three match loss to Cleveland State. Finished third on the team with 31 block assists. Was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second-straight year.

2001: Was one of three Griffs to play in all 71 games. Ranked third on the team with 157 digs. Her 25 service aces ranked her second on the team. Was credited with 77 kills in 247 attempts (1.085). Was one of six Canisius players to be named to the 2001 MAAC All-Academic team.

2000: Led the team in attack attempts (787), service errors (55), digs (301) and digs per game (3.31). Ranked seventh in the MAAC in digs per game. Was second on the team with 241 kills. Recorded 0.63 blocks per game.

Before Canisius: Selected First Team All-Western New York. Named to Frontier and West Seneca West All-Tournament teams. Competed in Junior Nationals tournament for two years. Won a gold medal in the Empire State Games for the Western Scholastic Team. Also played four years of high school basketball at Lancaster High and was named Second Team All-ECIC.

Personal: The daughter of Mike and Janine Lucie, Nicole is a health and physical education major at Canisius. Both her grandfather and mother attended Canisius College.
