2008 (Senior): Appeared in 19 matches... Had a season-high 10 kills in fifth-set win over Niagara on Oct. 22... Had eight kills and a .538 attack percentage against Hampton in the Tiny Laster Memorial Invitational... Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the third season

2007 (Junior): Averaged 1.85 kills per game in 78 games. 144 kills set a new career high after coming into junior season with 52 in first two seasons. Averaged 2.14 digs per game, which ranked third on the team. Totaled 167 digs after recording 88 during first two seasons. Had four matches with double-digit kills and seven with double-digit digs. Had career-high 17 kills against Loyola and career-high 19 digs against Youngstown State. Recorded four double-doubles. Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for second consecutive season.

2006 (Sophomore):  Played in 27 games. Had 12 kills, highlighted by a season-high five in the team’s opening season win over UNC Asheville. Recorded 13 digs on the year, with a season-high eight coming in against James Madison. Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2005 (Freshman):  Played in 60 games, where she collected 40 kills and 73 digs. Had a career-high six kills against conference rival Saint Peter’s. Was credited with five kills and a career nine digs against Coppin State. Had six service aces, with two coming at home against MAAC rivals Rider and Loyola.

Before Canisius:  Was named to the Newsday All-Long Island Team after her senior season in 2004, where she was also honored as an all-league and all-county player. As a junior at Ward-Melville, Faford helped lead the Patriots to the 2003 New York State Class AA championship. In 2004, Ward-Melville finished as the Class AA runner-up after falling in the state championship match.

Personal:  The daughter of Donald and Lori Fafard, Nicole is an special/childhood education major at the College. Has one sister, Laura.
