2003: Saw action in 56 games, making 11 starts. Finished the year 44 kills and 26 digs. Posted a season-high six kills against Boston College Aug. 29, and Princeton Sept. 19. Registered a season-high 17 attack attempts against Princeton. Collected 17 total blocks in her junior season (one solo and 16 block assists). Was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second-straight season.
2002: Played in 28 matches, making 16 starts in her sophomore season. Scored 70 kills. Had a career-high 10 kills on 15 attempts against St. Francis (Pa.). Posted a season-high 30 attempts and five blocks (two solo, three assists) at Loyola Oct. 12. Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
2001: Was credited with 139 digs, while averaging 1.11 kills per game. Was credited with 19 service aces, ranking her fourth on the team. Played in 70 games as a freshman.
Before Canisius: A three-time letterwinner at Holy Trinity. Named all-league and All-Long Island after her senior season. Selected as her team's MVP and the league's Player of the Year.
Personal: The daughter of Laurel and Mike Leat, Nicole is majoring in finance. Enjoys kickboxing, biking and rollerblading in her free time. Has a younger brother, Michael.
