2003: One of three Canisius players to play in all 107 games. Started in 24 of the team's 29 matches. Posted double figures kills in 19 matches. Posted 12 or more kills in 11 of those 19 matches. Had a career-high 22 kills in the Griffs' win over Long Island Sept. 5. Finished the season ranked second on the team with 314 kills. Led the team with 370 digs. Posted double digit digs in 23 matches, highlighted by a season-high 21 in a loss to Iona Nov. 8. Was credited with double digit digs in 12 consecutive matches from Sept. 12, vs. Youngstown State through Oct. 11, at Saint Peter's. Ranked eighth in the MAAC in digs per game with her 3.46 average. Finished the year with a career-high 25 service aces. Was named to the Colgate Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting 37 kills on 105 attempts with 55 digs and three aces in three matches against Princeton, La Salle and Colgate.
2002: Played in 115 games and started 28 of the team's 30 matches. Her 1,186 attack attempts ranks fourth all-time in program history for attack attempts in a single season. Had a career-high 379 kills. Posted 21 kills against Duquesne (Sept. 6) and Cleveland State (Sept. 14). Had a career-high 61 attempts against Binghamton (Sept. 28). Was credited with a career-high 22 digs against Loyola in the first round of the 2002 MAAC Championship Tournament in Orlando, Fla.
2001: Led the team with 237 digs. Finished the season ranked sixth in the MAAC in digs. Averaged 3.34 digs per game. Scored 181 kills on 606 attempts in her rookie campaign. Was credited with double-digit kills in eight games last season, highlighted by her 16 kills at local rival Niagara Oct. 13. Was named MAAC Rookie of the Week (Oct. 14) after picking up 25 kills with a .184 hitting percentage and four service aces in a win over St. Francis (Pa.) and a loss at home to Niagara. Was one of three Griffs to play in all 71 games last season.
Before Canisius: A four-time letterwinner in volleyball. Named Suffolk County Player of the Year following her senior season. Selected as team and league MVP after the 2000 and 2001 season. Team captain from 1999-2001. Holds the West Babylon High School record for career kills. Also lettered in basketball and soccer. Was named first team all-state as a goalkeeper. Honored as the Suffolk County Golaie of the Year as well.
Personal: A physical education major at Canisius, Kim is the daughter of Christine and John Hoffman. Has one sister, Katie.
