Randy Syracuse

Syracuse is in his third year on the Canisius volleyball staff.

Syracuse was an assistant coach at the University at Buffalo during the 2002 season. Prior to that, Syracuse was the head coach for the Buffalo club team and also was an assistant coach for Niagara University's women's team in 2001. As the coach of the men's club team at UB, Syracuse led his team to two straight top 10 finishes nationally.

Syracuse started his collegiate career at Erie Community College, and after graduating from ECC, Syracuse received a full scholarship to Rutgers where he competed in the Men's Volleyball Final Four. After Rutgers, Syracuse played professionally in Sweden and France. Syracuse also played 11 years in the Empire State Games on the Western New York team, earning six gold and five silver medals.

Syracuse has coached at Hamburg High School and West Seneca High School.
