Notes: Enters her senior season as the program's all-time leader in attack attempts per game average with 11.3 per contest. Needs 703 more attack attempts to pass Erin Oveis for the school record in career attack attempts. Named a co-captain for the 2004 season.
2003: Finished the season with a team-high 377 kills, which ranks sixth all-time in school history. Posted double digit kills in 22 matches last season. Had a season-high 21 kills on 46 attempts in a win over Binghamton Sept. 13. Ranked ninth in the MAAC in kills per game with her 3.65 average. Had 368 digs, highlighted by a career-high 23 in a loss to Princeton Sept. 19. Ranked seventh in the MAAC in digs with her 3.47 digs per game average. Played in 106 of the team's 107 games and made 25 starts. Was named to the Colgate Invitational All-Tournament team after posting 49 kills, four service aces and 37 digs in three matches. Was honored as the MAAC Player of the Week Oct. 10, after posting 45 kills and 43 digs in three wins over Buffalo, Binghamton and St. Francis (Pa.).
2002: Played in 30 matches, starting in 29 of them. Played in a total of 112 games in her sophomore campaign. Led the team with 415 kills, which ranks her fourth all-time in program history for kills in a single season. Her 3.71 kills per game led the Blue and Gold and ranked her seventh in the MAAC. Scored a career-high 24 kills in a loss at Loyola Oct. 12, then tied that mark with 24 kills against Loyola Nov. 17, at the MAAC Championships. Her 66 attempts against Iona Nov. 1, set a new program record for attempts in a four-game match. Set a new program mark with 74 attack attempts against Niagara Oct. 19. Had a career-high 41 service aces and ranked 10th in the MAAC in service aces per game. Tied a school record with seven service aces in a five-game match Sept. 20, against Stony Brook. Had 18 digs against Syracuse Oct. 20.
2001: Led the team with 238 kills on 724 attempts. Averaged 3.40 kills per game in her freshman season. Played in 71 games for the Blue and Gold. Her 3.40 kills per game is the sixth best average in a single season in the program's history. Was credited with double-digit kills in 13 matches, and scored 22 kills against Loyola Nov. 10. Ranked second on the team with 187 digs.
Before Canisius: Four-time letterwinner in volleyball. Was a three-time team captain at Long Beach High School. Selected to all-county team three times and named the team's MVP. Also lettered in basketball, softball swimming and soccer.
Personal: A psychology major with a minor in forensics at Canisius, Christina is the daughter of Donna and Charles Wildes. Has two brothers, Charles and Steven. Enjoys spending time with her family, playing beach volleyball, working out and kickboxing in her free time.
