Canisius College Names Jon Rowan Strength and Conditioning Coach

Logan Fletcher

Fletcher is in his second season as a graduate assistant with Canisius after two seasons as an assistant coach with the women’s basketball program at SUNY Buffalo State. Fletcher helps with team travel, film exchange, practice planning and camp operations.

While at Buffalo State, Fletcher was responsible for the breakdown of game film as well as the exchange of game film with opponents. Fletcher assisted in practice planning and game coaching with the Bengals. Buffalo State won the 2011-12 SUNYAC regular-season championship after winning a program-record 25 games and boasting three all-conference players.

Prior to his time at Buffalo State, Fletcher was the director of basketball operations at Herkimer County Community College where he helped with team travel, video scouting and practice planning. Fletcher also has served as a counselor at Camp Takajo where he developed and implemented a summer-long basketball daily skills program for more than 70 children. He coached four different travel teams at various tournaments.

The Massena, N.Y. native graduated from Buffalo State in 2013 with a degree in communication studies. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in sport administration.
