Jess Pham joined the Canisius staff in the fall of 2017, serving in the role of director of basketball operations.
At Longwood, Pham was responsible for assisting the daily operations of the program, arranging team travel, ordering equipment, game day management and organizing film exchange between opposing teams. She also over saw the program’s managers and edited game film for review.
Pham ascended to the role last season after spending 2015-16 as the volunteer director of operations, while also taking on a full course load. In that role, accompanying the normal operations duties, she also assisted with game day marketing efforts.
Aside from serving on Longwood’s staff, Pham spent her summers around the game, working as the women’s assistant basketball camp director at Liberty University, helping out with all facets of organizing, promoting, and executing the Team Camp, Day Camp and Elite Camp.
Pham’s other experience include athletic department intern in 2016, helping to create the internship program within the department. In that position she assisted with budget planning and marketing efforts. In addition she also helped creat the promotional video for The G.A.M.E.
Pham earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Exercise Science from Longwood in May of 2016.
