Ben Lober enters his third season at Canisius and first as the director of basketball operations and analytics for the women’s basketball program.
Lober spent the two previous years with the program as the Golden Griffins’ academic and operations coach. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, organizing all aspects of team travel and overseeing video and analytics.
Prior to coming to Main Street, Lober served as a student manager for the Michigan State women’s basketball program for the 2018 season before being promoted to the head manager position in 2019.
During his time with the Spartans, Lober oversaw a group of 13 student managers, helped analyze video, worked directly with coaches in their specific areas of expertise and assisted with on-campus recruiting.
Lober graduated with his bachelor's degree in economics from Michigan State in 2020 and is working on completing his master's degree in sport administration at Canisius.
