Biography
Notes: Returns to the women's basketball program as a walk-on after sitting out the 2003-04 campaign.
Sophomore Season: Played in 24 games and made eight starts. Scored a career-high 10 points in a home win over Northeastern Dec. 21. Was credited with four rebounds in five different games. Was credited with 14 blocks, highlighted by a career-high four at Rider Jan. 12.
Freshman Season: Scored a season-high seven points in the season opening win over Northeastern Nov. 16. Played in 17 games. Started in four games for Canisius prior to the holiday break, and the Griffs went 4-0 during that time. Was 7-for-19 from behind the three point arc in her freshman season.
Before Canisius: Was a four-year letter winner at T.C. Williams High School in Virginia. Won numerous awards as a senior, including being named team MVP and MVP of the All-District Team. Was a three-sport athlete at T.C. Williams High. Won three varsity letters in soccer and tennis. Was named the soccer team's MVP in 2001. Also voted to an all-district team for her doubles play on the tennis court.
Personal: The daughter of George and Barbara Hagen, Cavanaugh is a psychology major at Canisius. Was recruited by James Madison, Longwood and Mt. St. Mary's. Hagen's high school alma mater, T.C. Williams, was featured in the 2001 Disney movie Remember the Titans, which focused on the school's 1971 football team.
