Biography
BEFORE CANISIUS
• Won four varsity letters as a member of the Blackhawk High School girl’s basketball program
• Named the MVP of the 2025-26 Pa. Sports Writers Class 4A All-State Team after she averaged 21.2 points and 14.3 rebounds per game in her senior year
• A three-time All-State honoree, she helped lead the Lady Cougars to the 2025-26 WPIAL Finals and a quarterfinal appearance in the PIAA Class 4A state tournament
• Was named the KDKA-TV 4A Player of the Year after her junior and senior seasons
• Set the Blackhawk school records for career rebounds (1,034), single-season rebounds (386) and rebounds in a game (27)
• Helped lead Blackhawk High School to the 2023-24 PIAA Class 4A state championship, where she was honored as the title game’s Player of the Game by the Pennsylvania Cable Network
• Named All-WPIAL three times (2024, 2025 and 2026)
PERSONAL
• The daughter of Jason Hupp and Erin Salada
• Her father, Jason, played football at Kent State, and her uncle, JD Hupp, played football at Ohio State
• A member of the National Honor Society, she graduated third in her class from Blackhawk High School
• Volunteered her time with Special Olympics of Beaver County
• Majoring in biology
