Biography

Notes: Has a nice touch around the perimeter. Saw quality playing time as a freshman and will be called on again this season for her height inside.

Freshman Season: Scored a career-high 10 points in a loss at Fairfield Feb. 10. Played in 27 games as a freshman, and started in 11 of those contests. Had a career best seven rebounds in a loss at home to Saint Peter's Jan. 8. Averaged 2.7 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per contest. Spent her Spring Break last year with the school's Alternate Spring Break trip helping build homes with Campus Ministry.

Before Canisius: Was named honorable mention all-state after her senior season at Marian High. Won three varsity letters after playing basketball for four seasons.

Personal: The daughter of Denise Mazza, Amber is a psychology major. Lists photography, reading and poetry her hobbies. She was recruited by Butler, Oakland (MI) University and La Salle.
