Biography

Notes: Will compete for a starting position this season in the team's frontcourt. Adds a physical presence at both ends of the floor. One of the team's most athletic players.

2005-06: Played in just 19 games after missing all of January with a foot injury. Closed out the season averaging a career-high 7.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Scored a career-high 17 points at home against Boston University Nov. 30. Pulled down a season high nine boards against Boston University and tied a career-high with three assists at St. Bonaventure Dec. 17. Was credited with a career-best three steals in a loss at Eastern Michigan Dec. 30. Ranked third on the team in field goal percentage, knocking down 46.8 percent (51-for-109) of her shots. Averaged 16.5 minutes per game. Tied for fourth on the team with five blocked shots, highlighted by two blocks against Boston University and at Saint Peter's Dec. 11. Played a season-high 27 minutes at home against Boston University. Averaged 16.5 minutes per game.

2004-05: Played in a career-high 30 games, making four starts in the middle of the year. Averaged 4.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in her sophomore season. Had 12 points in the Griffs' win at Loyola Feb. 6. Scored in double figures in four of the team's last 11 games. Posted seven points and two boards in the team's NCAA Tournament game against Duke March 20. Had a career-high 11 rebounds in a home loss to Loyal Dec. 3. Led the team in rebounding in three different games. Matched a career-high with three assists in two different games (at Georgetown and home against Niagara). Ranked third on the team in field goal percentage, shooting 49.1 percent (56-for-114) from the floor. Averaged 14.1 minutes per game. Set a new career-high with 28 minutes played against Niagara March 5, in the MAAC Tournament.

2003-04: Played in 21 games and averaged 9.8 minutes per contest. Missed nine games from Dec. 30-Jan. 30, with a foot injury. Averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Scored her first collegiate points in her first game at Buffalo Nov. 21. Had a season-high nine points in a win at St. Francis (Pa.) Dec. 16. Had a season best five boards in the 2004 MAAC Championship game against Marist March 7.

Before Canisius: Played basketball for four seasons at Waterloo Oxford and was named the team's MVP after the 2003 season. Graduated a year early from Waterloo Oxford to enroll at Canisius.

Personal: The daughter of Bob and Connie Radunske, Abby is majoring in psychology at the College. Has three siblings, Chad, Rachel and Brock. Her brother Brock was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round (79th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and spent last season playing for Greenville of the East Coast Hockey League.
