Kim Twait joined the Canisius athletic training staff as an assistant athletic trainer in August 2018.
Twait joined the Golden Griffins athletic training staff after spending the 2017-18 academic year at the University of Virginia as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
As a staff member at Virginia, Twait’s primary responsibilities included prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of student-athletes on the Cavaliers swimming & diving teams.
Prior to Virginia, Twait was an athletic training student at Ithaca College where she assisted with the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for Cornell University field hockey and football and Ithaca swimming & diving and track & field programs.
Twait earned her bachelor degree in athletic training from Ithaca in 2017 and her master’s degree in kinesiology – athletic training from Virginia in 2018.
