Before Canisius: Played four seasons of varsity lacrosse at Bishop Timon-St. Jude... Named All-Western New York Second Team and all-catholic second team... Also played football and ran cross-country for the Tigers.

Personal: An education major at Canisius, Rich is the son of Fran and Richard Sasala.
