Kawalerski returns for his seventh season as a member of the Canisius coaching staff as a part-time assistant after spending four years as a goaltender with the Golden Griffins.
As a starter in 1999, Kawalerski posted a 4-8 record with a 12.66 goals against average and a .531 save percentage. The Lancaster, N.Y., native played two years of varsity lacrosse and football at Lancaster High School before attending Canisius.
Kawalerski, a 1999 graduate of Canisius with a bachelor's degree in management information systems, currently works at BlueCross BlueShield.
