2006:
Played in nine games and started seven... Named MAAC Defensive Player of
the Week with nine saves and career-high nine groundballs in 10-7 win
over Manhattan... Made season-high 11 saves at Colgate March 9... Won three
straight starts from April 1 to April 15... Allowed season-low three
goals in win over Wagner... Named to MAAC All-Academic Team and was
second in the league with a 3.91 grade point average
2005:
Played in 10 games in net, starting seven... Finished season ranked ninth
nationally with a .595 save percentage and fifth in the MAAC with a
8.50 goals against average... Made season-high 19 saves at Hobart April
26 and had nine ground balls against VMI April 23, which tied for
highest on the team...Won four of his first five starts... Allowed a
season-low two goals in 12-4 win against Wagner March 19... Named to the
MAAC All-Academic Team and his 3.98 GPA was the highest of any men’s
lacrosse player honored by the conference
2004: Saw action in six games in net... Recorded a season-high 12 saves in 15-1 loss to nationally-ranked Duke March 16.
Before Canisius:
Played four seasons in goal at St. Michael’s... Named Most Valuable
Player two times and won league championship in 2002... Also played
hockey and football.
Personal: Angus, the son of Penny
Rose and Stephen Dineley, is an English major at Canisius... Has two
sisters, Kathleen and Brigid, and one brother, Luke.
