Biography

2003-04: Scored six goals and 12 assists for 18 points, tied for third on the team... Recorded a three-point night in a 5-4 overtime victory against Sacred Heart (1/17)... Ranked 19th in Atlantic Hockey with nine power-play points (2-7-9).

2002-03: Tallied seven goals, tied for fourth on the team... Recorded 66 shots on goal and 26 penalty minutes... Registered all nine of his points in MAAC Hockey League contests.

2001-02: Scored 12 points (4G, 8A) in first 14 games played... Registered first collegiate point, an assist, in Griffs' 5-4 season-opening loss to Alabama-Huntsville (10/19)... Scored first career goal in 5-2 loss to Sacred Heart (10/26)... Recorded career-high three-point night in 7-2 rout of Fairfield (10/27)... Scored one of the Griffs' three short-handed goals on the season in 3-1 loss to Quinnipiac (12/1).

Before Canisius: Named Northern Ontario Junior Hockey Association MVP and All-Star Game MVP after leading the Soo Thunderbirds and NOJHA in scoring with 86 points (38G, 48A)... Selected First Team NOJHA All-Star... Also played for Cambridge Winterhawks, the Sutherland Cup Jr. "B" Champions and Cheery Cup league champions.

Personal: A physical education major at Canisius, Ryan is the son of Dean and Colette Corcoran... Has one older sister, Sarah... Ryan's uncle, Lou Nanne, was a player/coach/general manager for the Minnesota North Stars (NHL) from 1968-78, the captain of US Olympic Team in 1967-68 and inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 1998.
