Biography

2005-06: Returned to the ice after missing the 2004-05 season and recorded career highs in assists and points... Closed season with career-high five-game point streak... Scored first game-winning goal of his career against R.I.T. Oct. 15, on his only shot of the game... Tied for fourth on the team in plus/minus... Played in career high 32 games... Named to Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team for third time

2004-05: Redshirted... Missed entire season with an abdominal injury

2003-04: Scored six goals and added three assists in 26 games... Tallied first collegiate goal in 4-3 overtime loss to Connecticut Nov. 7... Recorded a career-high three points and scored the team’s lone short-handed goal in 5-4 overtime victory over Sacred Heart Jan. 17... Posted a season-high 15 penalty minutes in 4-2 win over Quinnipiac Jan. 10

Before Canisius: Transferred from Iona College, a former member of the MAAC Hockey League that dropped its hockey program following the 2001-02 season... Played in 28 games with the Gaels, recording four assists and 52 penalty minutes... Played four seasons with St. John’s Shrewsbury, winning the Massachusetts State Championship in 1999... Named all-state in 1999 as team’s captain

Personal: The son of William and Dorothy Harrington, Jaymie is a physical education major at Canisius with a minor in sport administration... Has one brother, Lance, who was a member of the 2001 NCAA Division III Ice Hockey championship team at Norwich
