Biography

2002-03: Scored four goals and added five assists for nine points on the Canisius blue line... Recorded 81 penalty minutes in 35 games played... Set a new Canisius single-game record for penalty minutes by a defenseman with 24 against Quinnipiac (10/25).

2001-02: Punishing defender tied for team-high in penalty minutes with 86 minutes in the "sin bin"... Recorded three assists in 28 games played.

2000-01: Imposing figure on blue line led the team with 69 penalty minutes... Scored first collegiate goal in season opening 7-4 loss against Wayne State (10/20).

Before Canisius: In 59 games with the Langley Hornets of the British Columbia Hockey League, Daryl registered 18 points (4G, 14A) and logged 188 penalty minutes... Also played for the Bramalea Blues, who qualified for the Royal Bank Cup of the Canadian Junior “A” Tier II Championships... Attended Chinquacousy SS.

Personal: Daryl, the son of Jeff and Linda Pierce, is an accounting major... Has two brothers, Shayne and Brad.
