Biography

2003-04: Scored one goal and added two assists in 11 games... Recorded a +1 rating, one of only six players on the team with a positive rating.

2002-03: Missed first 24 games of the season after suffering a knee injury in exhibition game against St. Clair College... Rallied to score a goal and add three assists in final 10 games played... Scored first collegiate goal, the game-winner, in Griffs’ 3-0 shutout of American International (3/2).

Before Canisius: Played with fellow Griff David Ovcjak for the Milton Merchants of the OPJHL... Was second on the team in scoring with 24 goals and 35 assists for 59 points... Attended Our Lady of Lourdes.

Personal: The son of Denis and Edith Bognar, Dan is a business major at Canisius... Has a younger brother, Tom
