Biography

2004-05: Scored first collegiate goal in 4-4 draw with Quinnipiac (1/4)... Added five assists in 32 games... Recorded 24 shots on goal.

Before Canisius: Played four seasons with the Cumberland Grads of the Central Junior “A” Hockey League in Ontario... Was the second leading scorer amongst league defensemen in 2003-04 with 12 goals and 37 assists for 49 points... Recorded 128 penalty minutes in 55 games in 2003-04... Was a member of the 2003-04 CJHL Robinson Division Champions and participated in the CJHL All-Star Game for four straight seasons... Winner of the 2002-03 CJHL Art Neilson Trophy for the player best exemplifying scholastic and playing ability... Team captain for the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons.

Personal: Craig, the son of Paul Nooyen and Dawna Ramsey, is undeclared in a major at Canisius... Has one brother, Curtis... Father Paul and and uncle Pete Nooyen played professional hockey in Holland.
