Scott Gray

Scott Gray is in his first season as assistant coach with the Canisius College hockey program. At Canisius, Gray will work directly with the team's goaltenders and will also assist with recruiting, video operations, academics, community outreach and other on-campus duties.

Prior to joining the Golden Griffin program, Gray spent the 2007-08 season as head coach of the Lakefield College women's hockey team in addition to serving as an assistant coach of the Ajax Pickering Minor Midget AAA team. He was also a goaltending coach for the Pickering Panthers Jr. A team of the OPJHL during the 2006-07 season.

Gray played three seasons at New England College, where he posted a 33-11-3 record, 2.38 goals against average and .913 save percentage. He earned 2006 ECAC Goaltender of the Year accolades and was twice named to the ECAC All-Star Second Team. Gray was also honored as New England College Male Athlete of the Year in 2005 and the school's Defensive Player of the Year in 2006.

Following graduation, Gray had brief stints with the Binghamton Senators and Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL and the Quad City Mallards of the UHL.

Gray graduated from New England College in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in criminology. He is currently pursing his master's in business administration at Canisius.
