Rick Procknal is in his second year as the equipment manager for the Canisius hockey team.
A 2018 graduate of Canisius, Procknal previously worked with the Buffalo Beauts as its equipment manager. He also works with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres (OJHL) team.
Prior to transferring to Canisius, Procknal attended Erie Community College, where he won an NJCAA National Championship and was a second-team All American selection for the Kats. He finished his career as the NJCAA all-time leader for +/- rating with +79.
Procknal earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration from Canisius.
