Started all 10 contests. 1999: Played all 11 games as a backup tight end and on special teams... Caught one pass for six yards... Made six tackles on special teams. Before Canisius: Was a second-team all-state, third-team All-Western New York and first-team District IV tight end at Tonawanda High School... All-time leading scorer in basketball. Personal: The son of Thomas and Lynn Perkovich, Tom is a physical education major at Canisius... Also plays basketball for the Griffs. Born: December 18, 1980.

Basketball:
Notes: Has shored up a spot on the Golden Griffin roster... Has a big body and a decent touch... Not afraid to do the dirty work... Probably the toughest player on the team.

2001-02: Played in four games and averaged 1.8 minutes... Scored two points against Loyola in the MAAC Tournament... Saw action against Bucknell, Siena (1/19), Loyola (3/1) and Rider (3/2).

2000-01: Played in eight games, averaging 1.3 minutes per contest... Tallied a rebound against Iona; played three minutes.

1999-00: Walked-on and played five games... Scored first career points against Buffalo (11/27)... Pulled down a rebound against St. Bonaventure.

Before Canisius: Left Tonawanda High School as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,035 points... Named all-area Player of the Year by the Tonawanda News after averaging 18 points and nine rebounds as a senior... Was a first-team All-ECIC III pick as a junior and second team selection as a senior... Led Tonawanda in assists (74) and steals (49) and blocked 60 shots as a senior... Also named second-team all-state (DE) and third-team All-Western New York (TE) in football.

Personal: The son of Thomas and Lynn Perkovich, Tom is a physical education major at Canisius... Is a starter on the offensive line for the Griffs’ football team and an All-MAAC candidate. Born: December 18, 1980, in Kenmore, N.Y.
