2000-01: Played in 11 contests... Went 2-for-2 from the field... Tallied three points in five minutes vs. Iona (2/8)... Tallied two points at Marist (2/24)... Had an assist at Notre Dame (12/19).

1999-00: Saw action in 25 games with career-best nine points against St. Bonaventure (24 minutes) and four assists at Duquesne... Averaged 7.8 minutes a game... Had 56 points, 18 assists and 19 rebounds on the year... Made first collegiate start against Iona... Grabbed two rebounds versus University at Buffalo, St. Bonaventure and Iona and three steals versus Loyola... Had seven points and four assists at Duquesne... Scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds at Loyola (1/5)... Netted six points vs. Rider (1/3)... Missed MAAC Tourney with hamstring pull.

1998-99: Injured, did not play... Medical redshirt.

1997-98: Saw action in 11 games with a season-high six minutes in loss to Kentucky... Scored four points and handed out two assists against the Wildcats... Went 2-for-2 from the line in a home game vs. Manhattan.

Before Canisius: Played two years at Penn Hills for coach Jim Rocco after transferring from Peabody High School... Averaged 16.5 points and five assists as a senior... Named first-team WPIAL AAAA after leading his squad to a 13-12 record... Recorded season highs of 31 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds... Nailed five treys in one prep contest.

Personal: The son of Wilbur and Vivienne Young, Damon is a secondary education major at Canisius... Has an older sister, Jemelle (31)... Father played collegiate basketball at Knoxville College (Tenn.). Born: December 30, 1978, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
