2002: Started 31 games... His .269 average was third on the team... Tied for fifth with six doubles... Went 1-for-3 in game at Niagara (4/16) with a three-run home run.

Before Canisius: Transferred to Canisius after appearing in seven games for Lehigh University in 2001... Was all-league and all-area his senior year at The Park School of Buffalo.

Personal: The son of Steve and Shelley Coppola, Steve is an entrepreneurship major at Canisius.
