Manny Corona enters his second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Canisius. He serves as the head trainer for the Golden Griffins' men's soccer and baseball programs.
Prior to joining the Canisius staff, Corona gained valuable experience working as an athletic training intern with the Buffalo Bills, working closely with the quarterbacks and offensive lineman. Corona also has experience working as an athletic training assistant with L.I.F.T. and he served as a "first aider" at the Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged.Â
Corona received his undergraduate degree in athletic training from SUNY Brockport in May 2020. While pursuing his undergrad degree, the Mamaroneck, N.Y., native spent time working with the athletic training staffs at both SUNY Brockport and St. John Fisher College.Â
A former member of the Brockport Sports Medicine Club, Corona is currently pursuing his master's degree in health and human performance with a specialty in strength and conditioning.Â
