Biography

2002: Played in 41 games and hit .252... Was second on the team with 151 at-bats, 27 runs, 38 hits and seven stolen bases... Led the team with 14 doubles, and his four home runs were third on the team... Went 2-for-3 in game at Manhattan (5/11) with four RBI and two doubles... Went 3-for-5 with two home runs in game at Niagara (5/18).

2001: Started in 37 games and hit .256... Led team with six sacrifice flies and drew 22 walks... Made only four errors in 189 chances... Threw out 13-of-38 base stealers.

Before Canisius: Three times named All-Western New York... Also played hockey.

Personal: The son of Jerome and Beverly Cicero, John is an elementary education major at Canisius.
