2007: Played in 48 games, making 43 starts in his debut season with the Blue and Gold... Hit .286 with nine doubles, three triples and three home runs to go along with 18 RBIs... Stole eight bases, which ranked third on the team, and posted a .435 slugging percentage... Had 14 multiple-hit outings and six multiple-RBI games

Before Canisius: Played two seasons at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith... Redshirted a season at Delta State University... Played four years at St. Francis Secondary School, where he earned second-team All-Province honors

Personal: Majoring in physical education... The son of Florida and Renato Asis... Has an older sister, Renea
