•    Two-time Poughkeepsie Journal all-star and named All-Dutchess County, all-league and all-section in 2004 and 2005
•    Has a career batting average of .443 and a slugging percentage of .613 with 10 homers and 109 RBIs
•    Has been the starting catcher for John Jay High School the last three seasons
•    Starting catcher for Hudson Valley at the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Empire State Games; won Bronze Medal in 2004
•    Hit .300 in 2006 Empire State Games
•    Starting catcher for the Hudson Valley Hurricanes, who were the 2004 U-18 Connie Mack State Finalists; hit .488 with a .655 on-base percentage that season
