2005: Played in 36 games and made 30 starts... Ranked fourth on the team with a .291 batting average to go along with eight doubles, a triple, a homer and 23 RBIs... Struck out just 19 times in 117 at-bats... Had 10 multiple-hit and seven multiple-RBI games... Made 28 starts in the outfield and hit cleanup in 18 games... Went 4-for-5 with four RBIs vs. Saint Peter’s (4/9)... Was 3-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs vs. Marist (4/30)... Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs vs. Fairfield (5/14).

Before Canisius: Played two years of baseball at Vaughan Secondary School... Also played for the Ontario Blue Jays and Hamilton Astros of the Connie Mack League... Listed as one of the top-50 high school players in Ontario in 2002 by The Toronto Sun... Also ranked one of the top four players in the York Region by The Toronto Sun.

Personal: Majoring in athletic training... The son of Magda and Avery Matlow... Has a younger brother, Ely.
