Biography

2005: Ranked third on the team with a .308 batting average... Recorded eight doubles, a triple, two homers and 14 RBIs... Played in 37 games and started 35... Posted 10 multiple-hit contests... Started 32 games as the designated hitter... Batted in the fourth or fifth spot in 21 games... Went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs vs. Saint Peter’s (4/9)... Went 3-for-5 with two RBIs vs. Fairfield (5/14)... Led the team with five sacrifice hits.

Before Canisius: Played baseball, basketball and volleyball and ran track at Ridgeway-Crystal Beach, Macomb Community College and Erie Community College... At Macomb, he hit .360 with four homers and 37 RBIs in his first season and .450 with seven home runs and 37 RBIs in his second campaign... Also compiled a 2.70 ERA with 49 strikeouts as a sophomore on the mound... Named all-conference and all-region at Macomb.

Personal: Majoring in business... Enjoys hunting and fishing... The son of Dan and Joanne Roach... Has three older sisters, Staci, Jaci and Karen.
