Before Canisius: Hit .353 with 14 RBIs and a .647 on-base percentage at Cathedral Prep in 2005 and named all-region... Named all-league in 2004 and helped Cathedral Prep capture the Metro League and the District 10 Championship Quad A Division... Hit .310 with a .675 on-base percentage while playing for the Erie Ramblers Summer Team in 2004.

Personal: The son of Jim and Sandy Travers... Majoring in education... Has a younger brother, Mike.
