2006: Pitched in nine games and posted a 3.48 ERA in 20.2 innings... Struck out eight batters and had a 1-0 record on the hill.

Before Canisius: Named first-team all-state and all league as a senior... Pitched a no-hitter and four one-hitters for Notre Dame during the 2005 campaign... Named second-team all-state and Section V Class C MVP as a junior... Also named Genesee Region League All-Star the last three seasons... A member of the Inferno Baseball Team in Buffalo... He earned the victory on the mound in the championship game of the 2003 Junior Olympic Games in Detroit, Mich... Batted .700 in tournament play that summer.

Personal: The son of Richard and Marianne Anderson... Richard played baseball at the University at Buffalo... Majoring in athletic training... Has one brother, Kyle.
