2002: Started all 42 games and hit .259... His two triples led the team... Tied for second on team with 38 hits... Made 11 assists from the outfield... Had an in-the-park, two-run home run against Akron (4/10).

2001: Second on team with 13 stolen bases and was fourth on team with a .297 batting average... Tied for team lead with three triples... Tied a school record with four stolen bases in game against Buffalo (5/1).

2000: Started all 40 games he played in his freshman season... Led team with 21 RBI... Successful on 16-of-17 stolen base attempts... His 44 hits, 17 runs, 58 total bases, and seven doubles were all second on the team.

Before Canisius: Hit .516 with 10 RBI his senior season with St. Joseph, where he was selected team MVP.

Personal: The son of Mike and Joy Cox, Ishmael is a business major at Canisius.
