Biography

2006: Injuries forced him into limited action on the mound... Pitched 17.2 innings in 10 appearances... Struck out seven and went 1-2... Struck out four and gave up one hit in three innings vs. Medaille.

2005: Spent a majority of the season in the weekend rotation... Tied for the team lead with 61 innings pitched... Started 11 games in 13 appearances... Pitched a complete game in a victory at Rider (4/17)... Recorded 39 strikeouts.

Before Canisius: Played four seasons at Lakeport... Named team MVP in 2003 and 2004... Pitched 24 innings with 35 strikeouts and a 3.04 ERA... Also hit .410 from the plate.

Personal: The son of Wayne and Shirley Horner... Has one brother, Eric... Majoring in chemistry.
