Biography

2009
•    Named to all-MAAC First Team for second time in career
•    Also named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District
•    Ranked second on the team in batting average (.359)
•    Made 45 starts and 53 appearances
•    Hit eight home runs after the first of April after recording four home runs in previous 121 games
•    Starting with the March 16 game at Morehead State, 56-for-140 (.451)
•    Recorded first multi-HR game on May 9, against Fairfield. Both HR came in the seventh inning
•    Had career-high five RBI against Niagara on April 28
•    MAAC Player of the Week on April 5 (8-for-12, three HR, five RBI)
•    Named to MAAC All-Academic Team   

2008
•    Played in 49 games, making 45 starts (43 in left field, two at DH)
•    Hit .290 with 51 hits, 10 doubles
•    Went a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen bases
•    Started the season with 13 hits in first eight games
•    Had 15 multiple-hit games
•    Went 3-for-3 with four RBI off the bench against Iona March 30
•    Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team

2007
•    Named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American and second-team All-Freshman by Ping! Baseball
•    Also named the first MAAC Rookie of the Year in Canisius history and earned first-team All-MAAC honors
•    Tied for the team lead with a .358 batting average to go along with 12 doubles, a triple, a home run and 26 RBIs
•    Tied for fifth in the MAAC in batting average
•    Had 18 multiple-hit games, including eight contests with three or more hits
•    Posted multiple RBIs in six games and had three RBIs in three contests
•    Had an 11-game hitting streak, the third longest of the season
•    Struck out just 17 times in 173 at-bats
•    Posted a 457 slugging percentage and a .437 on-base percentage.

•    Played for Team Ontario from 2003-2005
•    Owns a .340 career batting average with 13 doubles, 10 homers and 43 RBIs with Team Ontario
•    A member of the Intercounty Terriers
•    Won a Gold Medal at the Canadian National Championships in 2003 and a Silver Medal in 2001
•    Named 2003 Ontario Baseball Association Junior Player of the Year
•    Also played for the 2004 Ontario Baseball Association champions, the Mississauga Twins
•    Honor Roll student at Rick Hansen Secondary School since 2002.
