2004: Started 18 games at first base and 23 in the outfield... Had six doubles and seven RBIs... Had five multiple-hit games... Went 5-for-14 in a three-game set at Bethune-Cookman... Was 3-for-4 with an RBI at George Mason (5/6)... Was 2-for-3 with two runs at Towson (5/8).

Before Canisius: Was first-team All-Catholic in 2003 and second-team in 2002... Was team MVP in 2003... Also played basketball at St. Joe’s.

Personal: The son of James and Joan Spillman... Steve’s father and brother attended Canisius... Steve is undecided on a major at Canisius.
