Bell begins his fifth season on the Griffs' bench.
Before arriving at Canisius, he led his team to the Buffalo Muny League Championships three consecutive years, and in 1999, his team was the National Amateur Baseball Federation Regional Champions.
Bell played collegiate ball at St. Bonaventure, where he was the starting shortstop. Making the team as a walk-on in 1984, he secured his starting position, became captain his senior year and was an All-Atlantic 10 Conference Honorable Mention. Bell graduated from St. Bonaventure in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He received his MBA from St. Bonaventure in 1999.
Bell resides in Kenmore, where he is the Marketing Manager for Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., a $140 million company that manufactures and distributes materials used in the dental industry. His responsibilities include managing new product development and developing and implementing marketing plans.
