• Solidified the No. 2 spot in the weekend rotation
• Posted a 4-1 record in seven starts in MAAC regular-season action
• Ranked fourth in the MAAC in strikeouts (67)
• Threw first complete game against Fairfield on May 1, not allowing a hit in the first three innings
• Went at least six innings in six of last nine starts
• Allowed two or fewer earned runs in five of last eight starts
• Recorded at least five strikeouts in six of last 10 starts

• Did not appear in any games during the 2009 season

2008

• Appeared in six games
• Made first career start against St. Bonaventure April 9, went five innings and allowed two hits, four runs and five walks to pick up first career victory
• Didn't allow a run in first four appearances of the season

2007

• Threw 2.1 innings in two appearances on the mound
• Gave up three hits and struck out two.

Before Canisius

• Played for the Intercounty Terriers the last two seasons, where he compiled a 17-3 record and pitched over 190 innings
• Won Most Valuable Pitcher at the St. Mary's Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Tournament in July of 2005
• Played for Team Ontario from 2003-05; complied a career ERA of 4.21 with 65 strikeouts in 153.1 innings pitched
• Was invited to various Perfect Game and Blue Chip Prospect Showcases
• Played in the NABF World Series and the Sunbelt Classic
• Also lettered in volleyball and basketball at St. John's College.

Personal

• The son of Ken and Debbie Cox
• Has an older sister, Stephanie
• Received degree in digital media arts in May 2010 and is now pursuing a Master's Degree in sport administration
