2019 • SENIOR SEASON
• Selected as the 2018-19 Canisius Male Athlete of the Year.
• Earned 2019 All-MAAC Second Team honors.
• Named to 2019 MAAC All-Academic Team.
• Was the starting pitcher 13 times, making two relief appearances as well.
• Posted a 6-2 record and 4.11 ERA, placing sixth in the conference for victories.
• Ranked fifth in the MAAC and first on the team with 87.2 innings pitched.
• Was 31st in the nation with 1.54 walks allowed per nine innings, also finishing 56th in the NCAA with a 4.73 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
• Walked only 15 batters while tallying 71 strikeouts.
• Had six quality starts, working seven-plus innings four times.
• Earned the victory in five-straight starts from March 31 to April 27.
• Opened season by tossing 5.2 innings at N.C. Central on Feb. 15, giving up three hits and striking out four.
• Tossed back-to-back one-run, five-inning outings from March 1-8, striking out six at Kentucky before not allowing a walk at Wright State.
• Struck out a career-high 10 batters in just four innings on March 23 versus Siena.
• Notched a career-high eight innings on three occasions, first doing so at Marist on April 13 by striking out seven while issuing two runs on six hits.
• Pitched eight innings in his next start, striking out six and allowing five hits against Saint Peter’s on April 20.
• Held Monmouth to two runs (one earned) over eight innings on May 4, striking out four.
• Kept Notre Dame to three hits and one run over five innings on May 11, striking out six.
• Went 23.1 consecutive innings without a walk from March 31 to April 20.
• Finished career fourth in program history in both strikeouts (208) and appearances (68).
• Finished seventh in school history in several categories: walks per nine innings (2.44), wins (18), starts (40) and innings pitched (265.1).
2018 • JUNIOR SEASON
• Appeared in 16 games, making 14 starts on the hill for Canisius.
• Racked up seven wins (second on team, fourth in MAAC) to finish with a 7-2 record and a 5.65 ERA.
• Allowed 83 hits over 63.2 innings.
• Tied for second on team with 48 strikeouts while only issuing 22 walks.
• Went five innings or more five times.
• Longest start came on March 25, pitching 6.2 innings of one-run ball against Fairfield, allowing three hits while striking out four.
• Pitched six scoreless innings of work on April 15 at Iona, holding the Gaels to one hit while punching out three Iona hitters to earn his fifth win of the year.
• Held opponents to two runs or less nine times.
• Punched out a season-high six batters at St. Bonaventure on May 6, allowing one run and four hits over five innings.
• Had multiple strikeouts in 13 of his 16 appearances.
2017 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
• Made 18 appearances, starting 12 games.
• Finished the season with a 6-3 mark and a 3.48 ERA.
• Tallied 65 strikeouts in 82.2 innings.
• Recorded the longest outing of his career (seven innings) versus Manhattan on May 13.
• Recorded a career-high nine strikeouts versus Gardner-Webb on Feb. 17.
• Pitched 6.0+ innings seven times, including six straight games to end season, and including two complete games.
2016 • FRESHMAN SEASON
• Appeared in 19 games and made one start for the Blue and Gold.
• Posted a season-high five strikeouts against Buffalo on April 20.
• Finished the season with an ERA of 3.45 in 31.1 innings pitched with 24 strikeouts.
• Worked a season-long four innings against St. Bonaventure on May 4.
• Yielded two-or-fewer hits in 16 of 19 outings in his freshman season.
BEFORE CANISIUS
• Pitched at Orchard Park High School for three years.
• Was 2015 WNY Prep Talk Player of the Year.
• First Team All-Western New York in 2015 and Honorable Mention in 2014.
• Was a 2014 and 2015 All-ECIC First Team member.
• Served as team captain in 2015.
• Was a 2015 Perfect Game North East Region Honorable Mention.
• Posted career stats of 2.02 ERA and a 12-2 record as a starter, while his senior year he had an ERA of 1.81 and a 5-1 mark.
• Worked with Meals on Wheels in Orchard Park.
