• Named Third-Team All-American by three organizations and Freshman All-American by five organizations
• First pitcher in league history to win MAAC Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year honors in same season
• Tied for first in the NCAA among freshman pitchers with 12 victories
• Ranked in the top 10 in the country among freshman pitchers with 2.42 ERA

Before Canisius

• Selected to Team Canada Junior National Team training roster in 2005
• Won a gold medal with Team Ontario in the 2005 Canada Cup
• Pitched the semifinal game against Alberta and gave up just two hits in six innings while striking out six
• Played for the St. Thomas Jr. Intercounty Tomcats in 2005; compiled a 1.57 ERA with 42 strikeouts in 40.2 innings
• Pitched for the London Tecumseh Minor Midget Team in 2004; posted a 2.08 ERA with 124 strikeouts in 70.2 innings.

• Received degree in criminal justice in May 2010 and is now pursuing Master's degree in sport administration
