Biography

2006-07: Played in 11 games, making six starts. Made her first collegiate start Dec. 29, against Idaho where she scored a season-high 11 points and pulled down four rebounds in 20 minutes of play. Averaged 3.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Scored 10 points after going 4-for-5 from the field in the Griffs' win over Rider at home Jan. 14. Shot 65.4 percent (17-for-26) from the field and 60 percent (3-for-5) from behind the 3-point arc. Was honored as the team's "Unsung Hero" for the second consecutive year. Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second-straight season.

2005-06: Played in 27 games and averaged 9.4 minutes per game in a reserve roll. Averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in her sophomore season. Scored a career-high 13 points in the team's win over Manhattan Feb. 3, after going 5-for-5 from the floor and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. Tied a career high with eight rebounds in the Blue and Gold's loss to Loyola Jan. 26. Was good for nine points and seven boards in a loss at Binghamton Nov. 26. Led the team in field goal percentage, shooting 50.7 percent (36-for-71) from the floor. Shot 55.6 percent (5-for-9) from 3-point range. Dished out a career-high three assists at home against Cornell Nov. 23. Was good on 86.4 percent (19-for-22) of her shots from the free-throw line, and closed out the year with 10-straight makes from the charity stripe. Played in a season-high 21 minutes at Loyola. Earned the program's "Unsung Hero" Award, as voted on by the team's players and coaches. Was one of eight Griffs to be named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2004-05: Played in 25 games as a freshman. Played 23 minutes against St. John's in her first collegiate game. Averaged 2.6 points and three rebounds per game. Scored a eight points against three different teams (home against Rider, home against Eastern Michigan, and at San Diego State). Scored her first collegiate points in the Blue and Gold's loss to St. Bonaventure Nov. 21. Pulled down a career-high eight rebounds in the team's win at Colgate Nov. 27. Had a game-high four steals in the Griffs' win over Buffalo at home Dec. 18. Led all Canisius freshman with her 13.3 minutes per game average.

Before Canisius: Won four varsity letters at Susquehanna Valley High School while playing for head coach Mary Shea. Named the Susquehanna Valley High team MVP. Averaged 21 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 2.5 blocks per contest in her senior season. Also won a varsity letter in soccer.

Personal: The daughter of Tim and Cathy Mullins, Mere is management major at Canisius. Lists music and surfing the Internet as her hobbies. Has one sister, Jennifer.
