Before Canisius: Spent 2005-06 with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League... Team won the USHL’s Clark Cup... Assistant captain for the Buccaneers and had 15 points in 47 games... Played for two seasons at Western Michigan where he saw action in 63 contests... Also played for Des Moines in 2002-03 when he had 21 points in 60 games
