ON THE TEE
• The Canisius golf team opens the 2026 fall season Sept. 5-6 at the 10th annual Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
• This tournament format will be 54 holes, with two rounds scheduled for Saturday and the final round set for Sunday. Action on both days will tee off at 9 a.m.
• This marks the third-straight season and the sixth time in the last 11 years where the Golden Griffins have opened their fall campaign at Colgate's tournament.
• The Alex Lagowitz Memorial is one of five events on Canisius' fall schedule. Of those five tournaments, three are set to be 54 holes.

UP NEXT
• Canisius will participate in the 2026 Little Three Championship against long-time rivals Niagara and St. Bonaventure on Sept. 8, at the Bartlett Country Club in Olean, N.Y.
• This marks the 72nd playing of the Little Three Championship, dating back to 1952. The Little Three is the third-most played college golf tournament in the country.
