Softball Announces Fall Prospect Camp

The Canisius University softball program will hold a Fall Prospect Camp from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Demske Sports Complex on Sunday, Sept. 27, head coach Joe Gierlak announced today.

This camp is designed for middle school and high school softball players looking to showcase their game. The camp costs $175 and is open to all female softball players in grades 8-12 during the 2026-27 academic year. To register for the Fall Prospect Camp, CLICK HERE.

Campers will receive hands-on instruction from Canisius softball coaching staff and student-athletes, focusing on both offensive and defensive skill development. The day will also include live hitting and pitching sessions, as well as game-like situations where the camp's staff will offer real-time feedback and situational instruction.

Campers must bring their own equipment (bat, batting helmet, glove, catcher's gear, spikes (metal and/or molded), turf shoes/sneakers and water bottle. Camp check-in will open at 8:30 a.m., and the event will start at 9 a.m.
