Hockey Lands 11 on AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar List

The Canisius hockey program saw 11 student-athletes recognized for their efforts in the classroom on Monday as they were named American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)/Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 season.

Seniors Hunter Andrew and Kash Rasmussen were both recognized for the third time in their respective careers with Monday's announcement while sophomores Carter Patterson and Hunter Price were both honored for the second time. Junior Trey Funk and Ethan Robertson, sophomores Luke Marshall and Petter Wickström Stumer and freshmen FJ Buteau, Cole Miller and Kyan Haldenby were all first-time recipients.

To qualify as an AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of his team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goalies. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.

Since the program's inception in 2016-17, Canisius has had 57 student-athletes receive a total of 89 AHCA All-American Scholar accolades.
